It was a night of celebration as the Tides Hotel Boracay honored its partner travel agencies and corporate partners in their very first Awards Gathering for Outstanding Sales (AGOS) 2009, held at the Manor Superclub, Eastwood, Libis last July 31. The night honored its top producers, Diamond global, Philippines Straits, El Sol, Manila Ken Shin, and, at the top of the list, Direct With Hotel. Special awards were also given to South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) and its subsidiary SEAIR Leisure Escape Packages for their partnership in the hotel’s promos, and an award was also given to Asiatravel.com for their aggressive promotion of the hotel. A special citation was also awarded to KJL Tour Leader for being the hotel’s General Sales Agent of the Korean market for the past two years. Hosted by Ms. Karen Pamintuan and Tim Yap, the event was organized by the leading events production group in the metro, Eventscape Manila. It was a night of celebration as most of the partners of the hotel namely, Erik Cua, Stephen Ku, Chef Fernando Aracama, Iza Calzado, Mike Cua, Juan, Elizalde, and Tim Yap, came to meet and greet the people who have built the Tides Hotel Boracay to be the top boutique hotel in the Philippines; whose efforts led to the hotel garnering the 2009 Consumer Choice Award for Most Outstanding Luxury Destination Hotel and being cited as one of 44 Places To Go for 2009 by the prestigious New York Times.
